Historical NotesT-shirt documenting the winning tradition of the Thomas Jefferson High School football team, as well as the efforts of the team's booster club to both raise money and generate school spirit. At the time of accession (2010), TJ's football team had been virtually unstoppable in recent years. The team recently captured the WPIAL AAA championship in four seasons and added three state PIAA Class AAA championships in 2004, 2007, and 2008. Under the leadership of Coach Cherpak, the team became the first from the WPIAL to win a state championship with a perfect record, 16-0 for the Jaguars 2007 team.
