DescriptionFramed oil painting on Masonite. Bust portrait painting depicts African American man in three-quarter view facing slightly proper left; subject's gaze is at the viewer. Subject wears deep green-brown suit with off-white collared shirt and off-white necktie. Subject has very short gray hair and mustache. Background is deep red. Masonite texture is visible in painted surface. Gold painted wooden frame with simple carved decoration around perimeter member. Masonite is held in frame with nails around the perimeter.
