DescriptionFramed oil painting on Masonite. Bust portrait painting depicts African American man in three-quarter view facing slightly proper left; subject's gaze is at the viewer. Subject wears a gray-black suit, white collared shirt, and black necktie. Subject has short black hair and a mustache. Background is medium brown. Gold painted wooden frame with ornate inner band and outer border. Masonite is overall slightly concave. Reverse of Masonite has applied gesso layer.
