Historical NotesThe Union National Bank of Pittsburgh money bag donated by numismatic enthusiast Wayne Horman. The Union National Bank of Pittsburgh, formed in 1857 as the Diamond Savings Institution on the corner of Fourth and Market Street in Pittsburgh. It reorganized in 1864 under a national charter as the Union National Bank with headquarters at Wood and Fourth.
