Historical NotesThe donor Bruce Sulkey's father, Henry J. Sulkey, wore this jersey during his years playing football for the Indiana State Teacher’s College, now IUP, from 1936-1940. Sulkey earned a teaching degree in 1940, and went on to teach Math and English for a few years at a high school in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, before he left to work at the Latrobe Steel Company. He spent the rest of his career at the steel company, starting as a mail boy and retiring as the company secretary.
