Historical NotesFolding "Milady's" combination shoe horn and button hook tool from Petty's Bootery located in the Jenkins Arcade in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The store opened sometime around 1920 and was originally located at 212 Stanwix Street (which could also be in the Jenkins Arcade as the arcade was partially on Stanwix). It was exclusively a women's high end shoe shop. D. F. Petty owned and operated the store. They specialized in Stetson brand shoes. There had been a Stetson shoe store in the Arcade in the previous decade based on advertisements in the Saturday Evening Post.
