DescriptionMuseum-Go-Round television prop or set piece with two sections. Front u-shaped section is a wood structure on six black rubber wheels. Exterior has two varieties of fake green plastic plants including climbing ivy. Interior is exposed wood framework with green painted wall at top proper left and black fabric puppetry curtain suspended from top proper right. Handwritten notes and doodles on interior walls. Back section is cylindrical revolving section mounted on four black rubber wheels. Revolving “Museum” building on top that is painted gray wood circular structure with four sets of double doors and a perimeter colonnade of colorful ionic columns painted pink, green, purple, yellow, black, and blue.Dimensionsa: 57 × 97 × 57 in. Historical NotesThe Museum-Go-Round was located in th Neighorhood of Make-Believe set. Lady Elaine Fairchilde lives here. Part of a collection from the set of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Mister Rogers was one of the longest running children’s show on public television. It debuted on national television in 1968 and ran until the 2001.
