Historical NotesPittsburgh street sign in the black and white style that was replaced by blue and white in the early to mid-1980s. If the road was an avenue, boulevard, lane etc., it would have a black box around it, if it was a street it did not. This particular sign was taken from the Fairywood neighborhood.
