Historical NotesThis locker belonged to Tony Dorsett when he played at the University of Pittsburgh. Tony Dorsett was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, and was a very successful football player (running back) first at Hopewell High School, then at the University of Pittsburgh (1973- 1976), and in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys (1977-1987) and the Denver Broncos (1988). Dorsett won the Heisman Trophy in 1976 and was named NFL Rookie of the Year in 1977. He was inducted into the Pro-Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
