DescriptionClock from Tic Toc Restaurant. Rectangular painted black wood framework. Glass front. Front is a door that opens outward; door is secured on left side by fish-eye swivel hook and has two hinges on the right side. Interior of front has white clockface at top center with black Roman numerals I-XII (1-12). Clockface is bordered by brass concave border. Clockface is set into a gold-tone metal framework with sculpted metal and ceramic elements painted in color including two winged lyres, a white and gold flower, and mythological figures. Right and left side of clock case have a small access door. Back is open and clock gears and mechanical elements are at top center.Dimensions14.5 x 12.438 x 5.125 in. (36.8 x 31.6 x 13 cm)InscriptionsClockface has black Roman numerals I-XII (1-12).

Historical NotesClock used as decoration in Tic Toc restaurant at Kaufmann's Department Store. Part of a collection of artifacts that document the downtown location of Kaufmann’s (became Macy’s) department store. This large collection of items was field gathered from the downtown location of Macy’s (formerly Kaufmann’s) after the store’s final closing was announced in the fall of 2015.
