Front is a glass-fronted door that opens outward with two hinges on left side and locking mechanism on right side; key not intact. Interior compartment contains white clockface with black numerals 1-12 and maker's mark. Below clockface is interior hollow compartment with metal plate at bottom center with maker's mark; on right side of interior compartment is paper label with winding instructions.DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth: 30.25 × 19.313 × 8.25 in. Clockface has maker's mark consisting of overlapping letters C, T, and R as well as "CINCINNATI OHIO, U.S.A.".

Below clockface is interior hollow compartment with metal plate at bottom center with maker's mark "THE CINCINNATI TIME RECORDER CO / CINCINNATI OHIO U.S.A."
Historical NotesClock used as decoration in the Tic Toc restaurant inside Kaufmann's Department Store. Part of a collection of artifacts that document the downtown location of Kaufmann’s (became Macy’s) department store. This large collection of items was field gathered from the downtown location of Macy’s (formerly Kaufmann’s) after the store’s final closing was announced in the fall of 2015.
