Historical NotesDonor Alan Kuffner Jr. Uniform belonged to donor's father, Alan E. Kuffner. He was born in May 10, 1926 and died August 2, 2001. Lived his whole life in Glassport. Greaduated Glassport High School in 1944. Played baseball, basketball, football. 1937-1946 there was no Glassport High School baseball team. Glassport Jr. Police took the place of that team. Sammy Weiss was a prominent judge and politician in Glassport and sponsored the team. Kuffner was a baseball umpire and basketball referee during 1950's, 1960's ,1970's.
