(96.5 x 144.8 cm)Historical NotesApron belonging to donor's mother Eugenia Pagonis, who emigrated from Kardamyla in Chios, Greece in 1947. Eugenia was married to Andreas Constantinides, who came from Cyprus. They married in 1948 in St. Nicholas Church in Oakland. Collection includes two aprons and two pillowcases. The aprons belonged to Eugenia and the pillowcases are from Andreas’ family. The textiles in this collection were made by either Eugenia or sent to the couple by members of their families, and were probably part of Eugenia's trousseau.
