Historical NotesT-shirt from "whiteout" during Game 1 of the 2008 NHL Eastern Conference Playoffs featuring the Pittsburgh Penguins & the Philadelphia Flyers on May 9, 2008. Every person in attendance at the game received this type of t-shirt to wear during the game, causing the entire audience to appear completely white in order to distract the opposing team. The Penguins won the series 4 games to 1, advancing them to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Penguins went on to the Stanley Cup but lost to the Detroit Red Wings.
