Historical NotesLouisville Slugger baseball bat used by Andrew McCutchen during the 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates season. The Pirates used their first pick in the 2005 Amateur Draft to secure the dynamic five-tool talent of centerfielder Andrew McCutchen, who had just finished his senior year in high school with a .709 batting average. Fans packed PNC Park during the 2011 season when McCutchen led the team to a first place standing in mid-July, and secured his first all-star selection.
