Historical NotesLouisville Slugger baseball bat used by Pittsburgh Pirate Don Hoak. Hoak played with the Pirates from 1959-1962, but the manufacturer brand logo dates this bat to pre 1961, probably 1959 or 1960. Third baseman Don "Tiger" Hoak finished second in the National League MVP voting in 1960 to Pirates shortstop Dick Groat, a World Series championship year for the Pirates.
