Historical NotesRoberto Clemente played his entire major league career (1955-1972) for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He died in a plane crash on a goodwill mission to earthquake stricken Nicaragua in 1972. The bat has been certified as a game bat used by Clemente who used models U1 and G105. This bat, a Model G105, is the rarer model of the two types of bats that Clemente used.
