DescriptionWood clock from Cinderella window display. Item sits at a diagonal. Front of item has green painted border with black painted details. Painted black metal spirals protrude from the top of the item. The front features a round clock face at the top and a painted scene at the bottom. The clock hands show a time of approximately 3:02. The painted scene features a tree, two rabbits, and flowers; the scene is covered with a piece of Plexiglas in the shape of a rhombus. The cover for the clock is no longer intact. The area around the clock and painted scene is painted pink.DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth: 24 × 13.25 × 7.125 in. (61 × 33.7 × 18.1 cm)
InscriptionsBlue tape is adhered to the top of the left back wood piece and has black handwritten text "WIN. #1A".
Historical NotesThe Cinderella window display elements were originally displayed at Marshall-Fields in 2005 and were then displayed at Kaufmann's in downtown Pittsburgh circa 2007. Part of a collection of artifacts that document the downtown location of Kaufmann’s (became Macy’s) department store. This large collection of items was field gathered from the downtown location of Macy’s (formerly Kaufmann’s) after the store’s final closing was announced in the fall of 2015.
