Historical NotesThis item was owned and worn by Vera T. Emminger Kanary in the late 1940s-1950s. She was born on January 31, 1912, and died on November 2, 1988. Vera worked at Boggs & Buhl after graduating from Perry High School. Following this she worked at Mellon Bank. The donor Carol Braun Kunz has a photograph of her aunt wearing it while visiting the new Pittsburgh International Airport. Vera T. Emminger Kanary is the aunt of donor Carol Braun Kunz.
