Mister Rogers would sit on this bench to tie and untie his shoes at the start and end of each episode. This bench as well as much of the set furniture was bought at Sears, one of the early sponsors of the show. Part of a collection from the set of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Mister Rogers was one of the longest running children’s show on public television. It debuted on national television in 1968 and ran until the 2001.
