Historical NotesLong underwear used by donor Charlotte Schindler's father, William Kreuzer, during his time in the United States Navy. Bill was drafted into the Navy in 1945 and was discharged in March of the next year. He grew up in the North Side and was a butcher after the war, also in the North Side. He also worked as a butcher for A&P grocery chain and moved around to their various stores in the Pittsburgh area.
