Historical NotesSouvenir glass from American Ceramic Society meeting held at Hotel Penn Sheraton in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The American Ceramic Society was founded in 1899, in Pittsburgh. The glasses were printed using "Drakotherm" a trademark of B.F. Drakenfeld and Company, Inc. The company was headquartered in New York but had a manufacturing Plant in Washington, Pennsylvania. The company was eventually bought out by Ferro Glass Company which continues to manufacture glass products in Washington, PA.
