DescriptionWall decoration. Treated/stained light brown wood. Generally circular in shape with a star at top and two arms crossing at bottom with carved text above. Wood ring chain strung across front center that link to a carved heart with the heads of a man and woman facing each other in profile. Each side of the circle has a wood ring chain hanging down with a barrel-shaped wood piece at bottom.Dimensions8.625 x 4.875 x 1 in. (21.9 x 12.4 x 2.5 cm)

Historical NotesPart of a collection of Serbian artifacts. Vinka Ellesin was a folk singer who sang Serbian music in the sevdalinka style. The Serbian community in the United States referred to her as the "Queen of Sevdalinka."
