Historical NotesPolitical button for Allegheny County Sheriff Robert J. Corbett. Corbett was a U.S. Congressman from 1938-1940 and again from 1945-1971. In between serving as a U.S. Congressman, Corbett was Sheriff of Allegheny County from 1942-1944.
