Historical NotesThis dress was worn by Ottilie Sorg Reineke at her wedding to Dr. Herman Louis Reinecke on March 9, 1887. She was born in Pittsburgh on December 17, 1863 and died in 1933. They are both of German descent. Label TextOttilie Sorg wore this gown at her wedding to Dr. Herman L. Reinecke on March 9, 1887. A dentist, Reiecke graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and practiced on the South Side. The couple had three children and lived for many years at 1813 East Carson Street.
