DescriptionA small hand-held hammer-driven stamp. A forged square section rod. Tapered to a flat square top with sharply defined edges. Incised reversed letter "F" would produce an embossed letter when struck. There is an indexing line filed into one face of the shank.Dimensions0.375 x 0.375 x 2 in. Historical NotesFound in collection. Rather delicate edges and polished surface suggest use on wood, leather, or soft metal. Does not seem to be listed in tool inventory or HSWP in 1973.
