Historical NotesDuquesne Beer bottle from the Duquesne Bottling Company. Attorney Mark Dudash, a Pittsburgh native, was Director of Labor Relations and Safety at Pittsburgh Brewing Company before he decided to resurrect the once historic Pittsburgh beer. He bought the naming rights in 2008, and his first batch was ready by August of 2010. The original Duquesne Brewery Company operated in the South Side of Pittsburgh from 1899 to 1972. The current beer is brewed at the old Rolling Rock plant in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
