Historical NotesMedal awarded to Mildred Allen by the Pittsburgh High School Department of Hygiene in 1941 as a graduate of Fifth Avenue High School. Allen went on to help develop the Tri Boro Softball League and served as its commissioner during much of its existence in 1960-1976. She also played and coached the Satellites softball team (1960-1976). Donated by Mildred Allen's daughter, Beatrice M. Harper.
