Historical NotesMargaret Emma Morris wore this uniform when she served in the WAVES during WWII. She served a little over a year from November 30, 1944 until December 7, 1945 rising to Seaman Third Class. A month before her discharge she married James A. Ferson in Homestead. The couple lived in Pleasant Hills until her death in 1993.Label TextMargaret Emma Morris worked with the Navy in Washington, D.C., as a secretary at the Pentagon.
