Historical NotesPortrait of the donor's mother, Mary Rolfe Harnies, painted by T.M. Heaton. Heaton was an English painter who was asked to visit the donor's family. Elizabeth's father was English and enjoyed meeting other English who were traveling in Pittsburgh.
