Historical NotesThis is one of three murals that hung on the walls of Zoglmann's Barroom Hotel, located at 6th & Carson Streets in the Southside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. They are indicative of the Zoglmanns' Austro-Hungarian. The donor's German born grandfather Wolfgang owned and operated Zoglmann's Barroom Hotel until his death in 1949. Afterwards, the bar was operated by Frances and Loretta Zoglmann until 1965 and has passed hands several times since.
