Historical NotesWorn by the donor's grandmother, Mrs. Anne Butterfield Link, who came from Ireland in the 1840s. Anne owned and operated a dairy in the East End on land now known as Schenley Park. She died in 1925 at 89. This dress also became her "best" dress and was worn many times after her wedding.
