DescriptionHinged oval locket containing two photographs. Two metal loops (one welded to locket and the other through the first) on top right hand leaf of locket. Two black-and-white photos are mounted inside. The left hand photo is a boy and the right is a girl in a hat. On front exterior face of locket is a small embedded pearl(?) in the center.DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth (Closed): 1.688 × 1.063 × 0.25 in. (4.3 × 2.7 × 0.6 cm)

InscriptionsLocket has roman numerals hand-engraved behind each photograph "VIIII".
Marks “GERMANY” is stamped into the hanging ring/loop.
Historical NotesFamily history indicates the portraits are of the donor's great grandparents (possibly great great grandparents.) The boys name is listed as Evan Davis.
