Historical NotesSilver locket, with photographs of George W. McCandless and possibly Estella (Loomis) McCandless, belonging to Estella, who was married to George; the couple lived in Squirrel Hill. George was the Treasurer of the McConway & Torley Company of Pittsburgh and involved in the political movements of the early 20th century, serving a year as Director of the Public Safety Department for the City of Pittsburgh under Mayor William A. Magee.
