Historical NotesGold watch presented to Walter Fawcett, Jr., upon his 50-year service recognition from United States Steel. Born December 15, 1902, and died December 24, 1988. Walter, Jr. never married. He followed his father into the Homestead Steel Mill and worked there for 50 years as a machinist.
