Historical NotesA gold pocket watch awarded to donor Doug Grant's grandfather, H. J. Grant, for winning the Plunge for Distance in the City of Pittsburgh competition on July 4, 1914. The competition was held at Panther Hollow Lake. This was an annual competition of aquatic sports held by the city. Every winner received a gold watch.
