Historical NotesThis United States Olympic Team presentation uniform was worn by Candy Young Sanders during the 1980 Olympic Games. Sanders was a track and field star in the late 1970s and 1980s. she attended Beaver Falls High School and set world junior and high school records in the hurdles. She was a member of the 1979 United States Pan American Team and qualified for the 1980 United States Olympic Team. She attended Farleigh Dickinson University and won NCAA indoor titles and was an eight-time All-American.
