Historical NotesTeddy bear is named "Pug" belonging to Martin G. McGuinn. McGuinn was Chairman Mellon Financial Corporation and also has a gallery named after him at the History Center. Teddy bear from the Teddy Bear Reunion, which was held at the Senator John Heinz History Center from November 22,1999 to January 30, 2000. Teddy bears were collected from local celebrities and other important figures and displayed at the History Center during the holiday season. Each lender received a collectible ribbon to commemorate the bear's participation in the event.
