(25.4 x 15.2 cm)Historical NotesTeddy bear named "Bailey's Bear" belonging to Patti Burns. Burns was a journalist and anchor for KDKA in Pittsburgh; she also contributed to news stories on WQED and PBS. In 2001, she was diagnosed with lung cancer, and passed away on October 31 of that year. Teddy bear from the Teddy Bear Reunion, which was held at the Senator John Heinz History Center from November 22,1999 to January 30, 2000. Teddy bears were collected from local celebrities and other important figures and displayed at the History Center during the holiday season. Each lender received a collectible ribbon to commemorate the bear's participation in the event.
