DescriptionRound women's hat with white brim, brown band, black woven fiber crown and black veil. A piece of black grosgrain ribbon is attached with an orange cloth-covered button. Two brown plastic combs are attached to the inside with black elastic string. The interior is lined with red lace. The sweatband is black grosgrain ribbon.Dimensions2.5 x 10 x 26 in. One is light blue with maroon text reading "The Millinery Salon / Joseph Horne Co."
The second is white with gold borders and reads "Gardner / New York."

Historical NotesPart of a collection of hats. Donor Nancy Page has been collecting and displaying historic hats for many years. Most of the hats were sold at local retail stores or made locally.
