Clarence Warrall was the last owner of the shoes. He sold them to an antiques store, where they were purchased by the Heinz History Center in 1991. Clarence Warrall's father was also named Clarence. He was the son of John Warrall and Fanny Cook. John came from England and Fanny from Germany. They met in American and were married in Braddock, Pa.
