Front of each tongue at top has impressed text "222 8&E"; this is an educated guess because the text is difficult to read.
Historical NotesBaseball cleats belonged to donor, Doug Robbins, who participated in the 1959 VFW Uniontown Teen-er League Championship. The Teen-er League was 14 to 15 year olds and it was set-up like Little League. An all-star team would go to compete in the championships. The donor played for the Kiwanis sponsored club team of Uniontown. The state championships were in Uniontown and the nationals were in Hershey, Pennsylvania. His Post 47 all-star team won both state and nationals in 1959. The donor was the catcher for the team.
