DescriptionSilver-toned metal token with a raised image of John Hartranft facing proper right in center on front. Raised text along top and bottom on front and back. Metal ring attached at the top of the token.DimensionsHeight x Width: 1.25 × 1.125 in. (3.2 × 2.9 cm)
InscriptionsIn the center of the token is an image of Hartranft facing proper right. Along the top of the token reads: "MAJ. GEN. JOHN F. HARTRANFT". Along the bottom reads: " REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR OF PENNSYLVANIA." On the reverse, starting in the bottom left side and running along edge of token and stopping on the bottom right side reads: "THE HERO OF FORT STEADMAN". In the middle of the token, from top-down, reads "AND / 24 / BATTLES". Under this at the bottom of the token is a star.
