Inside reads: "FOR FIRE / PULL LEVER".
Keyhole with "EMERGENCY" written below followed by a plate with the number "13".
Another keyhole is next to the words "POLICE / PATROL BOX".
MarksBehind the opening instructions, text reads: "PAT. JAN. 1. 1924".
Under the lever is a black plate that reads: "565". Under that is "FIRE ALARM STATION / HEROULITE / TRADE MARK / THE GAMEWELL CO. NEWTON MASS."
On hinged door of call box in gold is a symbol of a fist holding lightning bolts around which reads: "GAME / WELL".
At bottom is "THEGAMEWELLCO. NEWTON, MASS."
On the fire alarm side is the same Gamewell logo inside a pediment with a lever is in the center.
