Black text on the base states "WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC & MFG. CO. / INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING TIMER ON / BH, KH, SH, AND TH RANGES / 1. Remove back cover from range. / 2. Remove white plug button or decorative plate from hole in / back splasher. / 3. Attach timer to back splasher using nut provided on timer / bushing. Do not use tools in tightening this nut. / 4. Thread cord through the hole in range frame. / 5. Remove jumper from timer terminal block and connect timer / cord to terminal block according to color marking on cord / and block. Be careful to arrange cord so that cord does not / interfere with operation of range delay. / 6. Replace all parts previously removed. / NOTE: Whenever timer is disconnected replace jumper between / red and blue terminals of timer terminal block. / WEP-2694 / GUARANTEE / This Range Timer is guaranteed against defects in workmanship / and material for one year and, if not subjected to misuse, will be / repaired free if returned by an authorized Westinghouse represent- / ative, transportation prepaid and insured to the address listed / below. / Timers that have been in service beyond the guarantee period or / require servicing because of accident or misuse, will be repaired / at a nominal charge.
