On interior of case is bridge with silver columns with horses and globes on top. Bronze bridge spans between columns. Right side arch sits behind bridge; left side arch is fallen to bottom, right side of display case. Historical NotesModel of the David McCullough bridge in Pittsburgh. It was presented to McCullough after the naming celebration on July 17, 2013. David McCullough Bridge, historically known as the 16th Street Bridge, is a steel trussed through-arch bridge spanning the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bridge connects the Strip District with Pittsburgh's North Shore and was renamed in 2013 in honor of Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and Pittsburgh native David McCullough. Part of a collection related to the life and career of author David McCullough.
