InscriptionsWhite paper inside glass cylinder has printed red and black text along a gridded scale and black printed text on the reverse "FAHRENHEIT SCALE MADE IN U.S.A."
Historical NotesThe thermometer, called a Baume, measured the density of the sodium sulfide mixture. Part of a collection from the Pittsburgh Wool Company.
