DescriptionOff-white, ceramic dinner plate with a clear glaze. Plate is circular with a shallow well in the center and sides curve upward with a scalloped edge. Gold trim around edge of plate and a flower pattern with pink, green, blue, and brown colors on the sides. Bottom of plate has a foot and a stamped, dark green manufacturing logo.DimensionsHeight x Diameter: 0.938 x 9 in. Historical NotesThis dinner plate was part of the Hudson line (H-135 pattern) that debuted in 1908 from Homer Laughlin China Company and was discontinued by the late 1920s. Homer Laughlin (1843-1913) was originally from Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and established the Homer Laughlin China Company in 1876 in East Liverpool, Ohio. By 1907 it had moved to Newell, West Virginia, and become the largest pottery factory in the country.
