DescriptionOff-white, ceramic creamer with a clear glaze. Creamer has a rounded base with a scalloped foot and cylindrical body that narrows toward the middle; open mouth with a spout on one side and a scalloped edge around the rim. Curved, applied handle on body and raised decoration around base. Gold trim around base, rim, and handle and a flower pattern with pink, green, brown, and blue colors applied to body just beneath the rim. Historical NotesThis creamer was part of the Hudson line (H-135 pattern) that debuted in 1908 from Homer Laughlin China Company and was discontinued by the late 1920s. Homer Laughlin (1843-1913) was originally from Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and established the Homer Laughlin China Company in 1876 in East Liverpool, Ohio. By 1907 it had moved to Newell, West Virginia, and become the largest pottery factory in the country.
