DescriptionOpalescent glass tea set with silver inlay, includes teapot, lid, sugar bowl, and creamer. Opalescent glass teapot has a flat, circular base with a round body and a short, cylindrical neck and open, circular mouth. Green glass spout and handle applied to body. Shoulder of body, rim of mouth, and rim of spout are decorated with a silver inlay. Inlay around body features two small designs of a triangle with four flowers coming out of the top; one on same side as spout, and second on side with handle. A second, larger design is featured on the other two sides of the shoulder; shows two birds with long tail feathers picking at a flower in an oval with a tassel on the bottom. All four designs connected by singular line that encircles shoulder. Plain silver cover over rim of mouth and spout; spout also features a small triangle with two flowers. Colorless glass lid for teapot is circular with a dark green knob on top. Silver inlay pattern on top of lid shows two designs with a triangle and four flowers connected by a single line encircling lid. Opalescent glass sugar bowl has a circular base with a rounded body that tapers in at the middle before flaring back out to create an open, circular mouth. Two rounded, green handles applied to sides of body. Silver inlay around middle of body shows a bird with long tail feathers perched above a flower design with a tassel hanging from the bottom; design repeated on other side. Both sides connected by singular silver line encircling body. Silver cover over rim of mouth. Opalescent glass creamer with a circular base and rounded body that tapers in at the middle before flaring out to create an open mouth with a spout on one side. Rounded, green handle applied to side opposite spout. Silver inlay around middle of body shows a bird with long tail feathers perched above a flower design with a tassel hanging from the bottom; design repeated on other side. Third design on body under spout shows a triangle with four flowers. All three designs are connected by singular silver line encircling body.
